What is candid documentary photography?
Like a ninja I will be every where and no where, capturing your day as it unfolds. For the most part there is little direction from me, I will photograph the natural moments, emotions candidly. However, with the important couple photographs I use prompts to illicit movement and emotions which often result in natural laughter, hugs and kisses.
Does that mean you wont do group photographs?
No, I know how important these can be so I am happy to accommodate a few informal group photographs. However, this is not a my forte and if you are requiring lots of group, or posed photographs, I am probably not the photographer for you!
Are you insured?
Yes, I am insured! This means that if there is loss of images due to technical issues, I am not able to attend due to illness/injury you are covered. I am also covered for public liability in case I accidentally break something (or someone!)
Do you travel for shoots?
Yes, There is no travel fees within 40 miles of Weymouth, Dorset.
Travel fees within 40-60 miles is £65
Travel fees between 60-100 miles is £100
Travel fees over 100 miles please contact for individual quote.
For venues further than three hours travel, an overnight stay may be necessary.
Do I have to feed you?
I do not force my couples to feed me on the day. However, I very much appreciate it. This does not have to be a full 3 course meal and caviar; often venues offer a vendor meal at a reduced price- I do like chocolate cake though. A full day package is a very long day, and I will take my break when you are eating too. If I am not fed, I will need to potentially leave the venue to get some hot food which may have implications on the timeline/availability to shoot and flexibility. By being fed, I am near your party and ready to start once eaten!
What is this free consultation thing?
I insist that ALL my clients meet me either face to face or virtually prior to booking. Why? To get to know each other. A photographer will be with your for a lot of your day and you need to feel comfortable with them! Equally, I want to make sure I am the right fit for you. If you want lots of posed shots, group shots then I will sign post you to another photographer. If you are looking for natural, relaxed candid style- then PERFECT! I never get you to sign a contract during the meeting. I sent a contract after we have met for you to look through in your own time with any pressure from me. I keep the date closed for a further 48 hours after the contract has gone out and the date can be secured by paying the reservation fee of £500.
what is a reservation fee?
The £500 reservation fee is non-refundable and secures your date. This fee is built in to the over all package fee, so it is not in addition to the package price. However, if you cancel this fee is not returned.
Can you do extra hours?
Yes, I can add on additional hours for £250 per hour.

Do you Travel?
I am based in sunny Weymouth, Dorset and tend to travel to neighbouring counties. However, I am happy to travel. Due to my low fees there is a small charge for travel over 40miles from Weymouth- see weddings for more information
How long have you been doing this?
I started my photography business around 2017 after getting married myself and struggling to natural relaxed photographers. I wanted to offer something different and started offering candid and story telling photography- which has been a big hit!
How many photos do we get?
More than you will know what to do with! There are no limitations to how many photographs you will get. The more your engage with the prompts and each other the more photos you will get! So get playful and have fun!
How do we get our photos?
Your photos will be delivered via your own online gallery where you will be able to download all your photographs in hi resolution!
Do you retouch photos?
I hand edit every photograph and can make minor simple retouches such as removing an exit sign from a ceremony room. I do not make big retouches and will not make you look like Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. I think you are beautiful, just as you are
Whats your turn around time?
I give a turn around time of 12 weeks; however, you will usually get them much sooner than this.

Can you help us with planning?
During the email exchanges and meets up I want to hear your vision and help you make sure it comes to life! I am more than happy to help guide you.
How far out do you book?
So I typically book a year, to a year and half in advance. I am more than happy to pencil you in for a date 2 years ahead and arrange a meet up, but prices and contracts will not be agreed until around 15 months before the day.
What do you charge?
I am completely transparent with my fees! Please check the packages and prices for more detail.
What should we wear?
If you book with me, I will send out a copy of a session guide to help you prepare for the day!
